Ivan Mršic

Academic Painter and ceramicist Ivan Mršic was born in 1937. in the village of Dobroselica. He graduated in 1965 from the Acadmey of Applied Arts in Belgrade from the class of Vinka Grdan and undertook further artistic study in Germany. In the 1980s he was linked to Ilok and Eastern Slavonia, where the largest part of his monumetnal works are located. The war events of 1991 saw him elected as mayor of Ilok. for the last decade he has lived in the Slavonian village of Bošnjaci.
