Heath Bunting is a Bristol based artist who is widely recognised as a pioneer of internet art. He has exhibited and lectured around the globe, with projects that incorporate graffiti, performance, intervention, pirate radio and fax/mail art. Recent shows and appearances have included the ICA London, Tate Britain, Apex Art New York, and Documenta. Recently, he has moved into the field of genetics proclaiming it to be the next ‘new media’. ‘Natural Reality Superweed’ is an important contribution to artistic practice in what represents a new creative field on the borderline between science and art.
