Biography

Beata Veszely (1970. Budapest) studied at the painting and multimedia departments of the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts, graduating in 1994, she completed her post-graduate art studies at Goldsmiths College in London in 2000. She has exhibited in numerous exhibitions in Hungary and abroad, including Mucsarnok Budapest, the ICA London, Camden Arts Centre, Collective Gallery Edinburgh, IFA Gallery Berlin and Secession in Vienna. Since 2003 she is also the director of the TIPP collaborative research project between Goldsmiths and the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts, and has been involved in the organisation of a number of international exhibitions.
